Introduction
Six years ago, Dallas Black Bloggers began as a simple idea: a space where Black creators in Dallas could feel seen, supported, and celebrated. DBB started as a small gathering of passionate storytellers (and friends), has grown into a thriving community in the city. Today, we’re proud to stand as one of Dallas’s most active and influential collectives for Black bloggers, influencers, and digital creatives. Our creative network expands to honoring small businesses and entrepreneurs within the Dallas community to be a cultural power platform for all.

Our Origin Story: Built From Passion and Purpose
Dallas Black Bloggers was born from a need. Black creators in Dallas were doing incredible work, but many were creating in isolation. There wasn’t a central hub where we could connect, collaborate, or learn from one another.
So, we built one.
From our very first meetup, the mission was clear; to create community, share resources, celebrate creativity, and to build opportunities. What we didn’t expect was how quickly the energy would grow.
How We’ve Grown Over 6 Years
We are still very grateful for hosting this community for over six years. Our journey has been filled with many milestones that shaped who we are today.
Our growing network of creators stretches to photographers, podcasters, and entrepreneurs. Our community spans every corner of the digital world.
We host Consistent meetups and events! Those meetups include workshops, brunches, panel discussions, brand collaborations, and networking nights. We want to bring our creators together in meaningful ways.
Our partnerships with local businesses, event organizers, and national brands have tapped into our community for authentic storytelling and representation.
As a recognizable presence in the Dallas creative scene, we’ve become a trusted source for culture, connection, and creativity. And we’re just getting started!
