Congrats to BLACKLIT for opening their first brick and mortar bookstore in Dallas. The BLACKLIT bookstore is a shopping experience devoted to featuring Black Authors and Black Entrepreneurs.
The BLACKLIT bookstore exhibits a space for Black literature, Black Excellence, and where Black Culture can be taught, explored, and celebrated. (1)
The Founder & Ceo, Nia-Tayler Clark, started BLACKLIT as an online community dedicated to loving and supporting Black literature. Her business venture eventually turned into a monthly subscription box that exclusively highlighted Black Authors and Black Entrepreneurs in literature.
BLACKLIT was started in 2019 and has grown so much since then. BLACKLIT has been featured by Oprah Magazine, Good Morning Texas, Bloomberg, Reader's Digest, and Dallas Morning News.
