BlackLit Bookstore is a shopping experience devoted to featuring Black authors and Black entrepreneurs.

Pan African Connection is a community resource center for the residents of Dallas to gather, organize, and plan a forward movement for African People and Humanity. Pan African considers themselves to be the "shortest trip to Africa without getting on a plane." Pan African Connection is more than a bookstore. They sell books relative to African/Black experiences throughout the world, African clothing, African art, and African artifacts.


They also utilize their space for workshops, live performances, educational classes, and so much more. Pan African is a huge staple in the city of Dallas and will continue to serve this community.





The Dock Bookshop, opened in 2008, has a mission to inspire, inform, and entertain their customers through books and book-related events. The Dock Bookshop is located in Fort Worth and has been a huge supporter of the community.


The Dock Bookshop regularly hosts events at their space. Those events included celebrity book signing for Spike Lee and Gabriel Union.





Enda's Booktique is an independent bookstore owned by an African American educator. Enda's Booktique is a collection of books written by women for women and about women.

The Booktique is located in Duncanville and was established in 2019. Enda's Booktique is also a space for book signing, special events, lectures, and study sessions.
